How to arrive at Cristo Redentor??
1) OFFICIAL VANS:
One of the easiest ways to get there. However, it is one of the most expensive ways also! There are 4 departure points for the Praça do Lido vans, in Copa (R $ 63), Largo do Machado (R $ 63), Barra (R $ 92) and Estação das Paineiras (R $ 30). Buying before to guarantee a departure time at the chosen point means it is not possible to embark at one station and disembark at another vice versa. The vans are not integrated with the Corcovado train.
2) CORCOVADO TRAIN:
The little train is the best known way to get there (the coolest one too). Going up through the largest urban forest in the world, arriving at the foot of the statue. We advise you to avoid queues and buy in advance: in the low season (R $ 65), in the high season (R $ 79), children (between 6-11 years / R $ 51), over 60 years (R $ 25.50) students do not have discounts, children under 4 years old do not pay and all these values include the roundtrip and entrance train.
3) PRIVATE TRANSPORT:
No unofficial car, taxi or van can go beyond the Visitors Center, but it is possible to go with private means (Taxi, Uber, Cabify ...). If you take a taxi, make sure to turn on the meter! Entrance to Christ in this way is cheaper, ranging from R $ 20-40. Perhaps this is the cheapest and fastest option if you share the race.
4) WALKING:

5) HIKING:
The trail starts at Parque Lage and is almost 3 hours uphill! Unfortunately we do not recommend this option anymore who does not like a hard hike. It's a beautiful and rewarding hike!
6) BIKE:

COMO CHEGAR AO CRISTO REDENTOR!

A maneira mais fácil de chegar do é utilizando as vans para chegar até a entrada de visitantes. Porém, é uma das mais caras tbm! Há 4 pontos de saída das vans Praça do Lido, em Copa (R$63), Largo do Machado (R$63), Barra (R$92) e Estação das Paineiras (R$30). Comprando antes você garante um horário de embarque no ponto escolhido, n é possível embarcar em uma estação e desembarcar em outra. As vans n têm integração com o trem do Corcovado.
2) TREM DO CORCOVADO:
O trenzinho é o meio mais conhecido de chegar (o mais legal tbm).Subindo pela a maior floresta urbana do mundo, chegando ao pé da estátua. Aconselhamos que você evite filas e compre antecipadamente: na baixa temporada (R$65) na alta (R$79) , crianças (entre 6-11 anos/ R$51) , mais de 60 anos (R$25,50) estudantes n tem descontos, crianças de até 4 anos n pagam e todos esses valores incluem o trem de ida/volta e entrada.
3) TRANSPORTE PARTICULAR:
Nenhum carro, táxi ou van não-oficial pode ir além do Centro de Visitantes, mas é possível ir com meios privados (Táxi,Uber, Cabify...). Se você for de táxi faça questão de ligar o taxímetro!A entrada ao Cristo dessa maneira fica mais barata,variando de R$20-40.Talvez essa seja a opção mais barata e rápida se você dividir a corrida.
4) CAMINHANDO:
A estação mais próxima é do largo do machado, a caminhada dura em média 30 minutos. Os ingressos assim pode variar entre 20-40
5) TRILHA:
A trilha começa no Parque Lage e são quase 3h de subida! Infelizmente não recomendamos mais essa opção, no último ano houve muitas denuncias de assaltos na região, uma pena, porque é linda e uma opção valiosa.
6) BIKE:
Pra quem gosta de esporte, subindo as paineiras vc tbm vai poder o visual do Mirante Dona Marta. O ingresso fica na média de R$20-40
